Noam Loyola

Living, learning, and teaching Saskatchewan, Canada. Obsessed with mathematics education, I am currently a substitute teacher as well as pursuing my math degree, which has only made me fall deeper in love with maths as a craft. I plan to follow up this degree with pursing a masters math education, specifically focusing on math history in curriculum, and the reasons it has been left behind in math education.

This past school year (2024 - 2025) I have begun to speak at local conventions advocating for the incorporation of math history in the classroom.

I am currently the student representative for the Saskatchewan Math Teachers' Society and a substitute teacher representative for the Saskatoon Teachers' Association.

​

In my free time I enjoy gardening, cooking and baking, crocheting, and local videography.
